Terms of service
Last updated 21 October 2026
1. Who you are dealing with
Depot is made and run by Klembyte ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@klembyte.com, and we aim to answer within one business day.
By creating an account or using Depot you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use Depot.
2. What Depot is
Depot is a set of browser-based tools for working on FiveM and GTA V content: liveries, sirens, chevrons, clothing and the meta files behind them. It runs in your browser and reads and writes files on your own computer.
Depot needs a Chromium-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Opera and similar). Firefox and Safari do not support the browser feature Depot relies on to open your folders without uploading them.
3. Your account
You need an account to use Depot. Keep your sign-in details to yourself: an account is for one person, and anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into it.
You must be old enough to enter into a contract where you live. If you are buying on behalf of a business, you confirm you may bind that business.
4. Subscription and payment
Depot is a subscription. Prices are shown on the pricing page.
Payments are processed by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record for Depot. That means your contract for the payment itself is with Paddle: they take the payment, issue the invoice and handle VAT. We never receive or store your card details. Paddle's own terms apply to that part of the transaction.
A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not refund the current period; see the refund policy for what the law still gives you.
If a payment fails we may suspend access until it is settled. We may change our prices, but not for a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before a change takes effect.
5. What you may do with Depot
While your subscription is active we give you a personal, non-transferable right to use Depot.
Anything you make with Depot is yours. Liveries, templates, textures, siren patterns and the files Depot writes for you are your work, and you may use them however you like, including commercially and including in paid resources. We claim nothing in them.
6. What you may not do
- Share your account, or let other people work through it.
- Resell, sublicense or rent access to Depot.
- Try to get around sign-in, payment or any limit in the service.
- Attack, overload or probe the service, or anyone else using it.
- Use Depot to work on material you have no right to work on.
If you do any of this we may suspend or end your account. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will ask you to fix it first.
7. Your files
Depot opens the files you point it at on your own computer and writes your changes back there. Those files are not uploaded to us and we do not have copies of them. What this means in practice is set out in the privacy policy.
Because Depot writes to real files, keep backups. We have built it to change only what it says it changes, but a tool that edits your work is still a tool that edits your work.
8. Availability and changes
We work to keep Depot up and working, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption. Maintenance, a hosting failure or a change in the browser can take it offline.
Depot changes over time. We add tools, improve them, and occasionally retire one that is no longer worth keeping. If we remove something you relied on, we will say so in advance where we reasonably can.
9. Ending it
You can cancel at any time from your account. We may end your subscription if you break these terms, or with reasonable notice if we stop offering Depot altogether — in which case we will refund the unused part of anything you have already paid.
10. Liability
Depot is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost work, lost data, lost profit or losses we could not reasonably have foreseen. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the problem arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
11. Not affiliated with Rockstar or Cfx.re
Depot is an independent tool. It is not made by, endorsed by or connected to Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or Cfx.re / FiveM. All trademarks belong to their owners. You are responsible for making sure your own use of game content follows their rules.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you we will tell you before it takes effect, and you may cancel if you do not accept it. The date at the top shows when these terms last changed.
13. Law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the law where you live, and you may bring a claim in your own country's courts.
